We gave the kiddos quite the challenge last night, we decided to give them a pretest to see where they were collectively and to see how those that hadn’t had a test yet could adapt. We took them outside and had them do a small form out in the snow to check their focus and then we took them through their curriculum tests. Everybody worked very hard during their test and we were very impressed with the demonstrated skills! There were a couple rank advancements as well as instruction on what each student’s next steps toward promotion will be.
The assignment that that was given to them to research and teach the class about a specific animal in the styles of martial arts has been coming along well; we had one student present their animal the other day and I believe the whole class benefited from the information they were given.
