3rd Annual Golden Gate Hall of Honors

On September 12, 2026, Shizun Shannon Monroe and I traveled to California after being invited by Grandmaster Rick St. Clair to attend the 3rd Annual Golden Gate Hall of Honors.

We were honored to receive the following awards:

• Shizun Shannon Monroe — Business of the Year Award

• Sigung Coy Monroe — Head of Family Award

Shizun Shannon was also asked to perform at the event along with five other martial artists. It was a great honor to be included and to share the experience with everyone in attendance.

After the ceremony, we were invited to Grandmaster St. Clair's school, where we had the opportunity to work with his students on the fundamentals of the Tai Chi sword and the Katana.

I would like to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who allowed us to participate in this wonderful event. We are truly honored to have been welcomed into your family and to have had the opportunity to spend time with so many great martial artists.

Thank you for your hospitality, your friendship, and for allowing us to be a part of such a special occasion.
